The last 3 years saw the world ponder questions about the origins of Covid-19. Covid has shone a spotlight on a number of issues, including the accurate reporting of cases, statistical definitions and transparency. This article raises a number of questions as to the safety of the world's biosafety and biocontainment facilities, but just relating to the design and construction, but the workpractices and reporting of incidents. labsafety should be a priority in the work towards preventing the next #pandemic?
