The Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road and Rail, edition 7.7 (ADG Code 7.7), can now be applied in Victoria. The ADG Code outlines requirements for transporting dangerous goods by road and rail across Australia.
The ADG Code, edition 7.6 (ADG Code 7.6), was incorporated into the:
- Dangerous Goods (Explosives) Regulations 2011
- Dangerous Goods (Storage and Handling) Regulations 2012
- Dangerous Goods (Transport by Road or Rail) Regulations 2018
- Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017.
Between 1 April 2021 and 1 October 2021 Duty holders may choose to comply with either the ADG Code 7.6 or ADG Code 7.7. On and from 1 October 2021 - All duty holders must comply with ADG Code 7.7. AUSTRALIAN DANGEROUS GOOD CODE V7.7
