The team at Lisa J Stevens and Associates are pleased to announce that our Principal Health and Safety Consultant, Lisa Stevens, was recently awarded a prize in the Commonwealth Chemistry Poster Competition. Lisa's poster entitled The Curious Case of Acryloyl Chloride – a case of misinformation or misinterpretation? Was awarded one of the ten prizes available in the Sustainable Development Goal 3 - Good health and well-being section of the competition. Lisa's poster was just one of 109 posters focusing on the UN's Sustainable Development Goal - Good Health and Well-being. Lisa's PhD research examines the impact of misleading and erroneous SDS and how they inform workplace risk assessment. Lisa is highly honoured to be one of two Australians mentioned during the prize-giving. Lisa is incredibly honoured to have my poster titled “The Curious Case of Acryloyl Chloride - A Case of Misinformation or Misinterpretation?” recognised as one of the winners in the UN Sustainable Development Goal 3 Health and Wellbeing Section at the Commonwealth Chemistry Society’s 6th Poster Competition.
Competitions like this don’t just happen on their own, so I want to extend my gratitude to the Commonwealth Chemistry Society for organising this event. Congratulations to everyone whose poster was accepted; you all did an amazing job! The presentations and posters were awe-inspiring, and I felt honoured to be among such a diverse group of researchers.
